Simple Steps To Becoming A Notary

CALIFORNIA

1.     Order your “California Notary Kit” from American Notary Exchange

2.     A registration packet, including notary application, bond application, study booklet, and schedule information for exam will be sent directly to you.

3.     Take a 6 hour state required seminar, the state exam (information is included in packet).

4.     Receive your notary commission from the state (2-3 weeks after passing exam)

5.     Send American Notary Exchange a copy of your commission, your completed notary bond form, and your original “certificate to manufacture seal”

6.     Notary Bond will be processed and mailed directly to you

7.     File with County Clerk’s Office:  Bring your notary commission,

                 bond and oath, and file it with your County Clerk’s Office

YOU ONLY HAVE 30 DAYS FROM THE DATE OF YOUR COMMISSION IN WHICH TO FILE.

8.     Receive your prepaid California Notary Kit

FLORIDA

1.     Order your “Florida Notary Kit” from American Notary Exchange

2.     A notary application and bond form will be sent directly to you

3.     Take a short online training class @.http://notaries.dos.state.fl.us/education/index.html

        Print out certificate of completion

4      Mail your completed application, bond form, and certificate of

completion to American Notary Exchange

5.     We will process your application and bond and forward it to the State.

6.     Receive your Notary Public Commission from State Office.

7.     Send American Notary Exchange a copy of your commission

8.     Receive your prepaid Florida Notary Kit

TEXAS:

1.     Order your “Texas Notary Kit” from American Notary Exchange

2.     A notary application and bond form will be sent directly to you

3.     Mail your completed application and bond form (only your signature is required on bond in three places) 

4.     We will process your application and bond and forward it to the State

5.     Receive your Notary Public Commission from the State Office

6.     Send American Notary Exchange a copy of your commission

7.     Receive your prepaid Texas Notary Kit

ALL OTHER STATES:

1.     Order your “Become a Notary Kit” from American Notary Exchange

2.     A notary application, and if applicable, a bond form, will be sent directly to you

3.     Some States may require a seminar, exam or bond (check your specific state)

4.     Receive your Notary Public Commission from your State after satisfying your state’s requirements.

5.     Send American Notary Exchange a copy of your commission.

6.     Receive your prepaid Become a Notary Kit
